Thanks for these tips for picking an obstetrician or midwife. It’s good to know that the former should have about 11-14 years of medical practice. I’m kind of interested to learn what kind of experience the obstetrician has gained over that time and if they have unique stories.

Thanks for the tips for choosing pregnancy care. My wife wants to go with a midwife, and after reading this, I think it’s a good idea. As of right now, I’m pretty sure my wife has a low-risk pregnancy!

Thank you for all the tips on how to choose an obstetrician or midwife. I’m glad you mentioned that you should determine how much of a risk pregnancy is to your health. I’m glad that high-risk pregnancies are best cared for by an obstetrician. I will have to look for an obstetrician for my pregnancy.

My wife and I are planning a pregnancy out right now, and we definitely want to pick the best obstetrician. I liked what you said about checking on where your child will be birthed at. Location is as important as any other choice. You want to be somewhere easily accessible but comfortable and clean.

My wife and I want to have a baby, but before we do that we want to make sure we have a great obstetrician picked out. You mentioned that a obstetrician has 4-5 years’ experience specializing in pregnancy care and a total of 11-14 years medical experience. Knowing how experienced and well trained they are gives me a lot of comfort, as handling something as important as a newborn requires that kind of training. We’ll have to find a specialist who’s undergone that kind of learning.
