Hello

I’m Ray, the creator of  Stork Mama.

I’m a millennial Mama, raised on Spice Girls, Alex Mack, and dial-up.

As a qualified midwife (L&D nurse) I find myself answering the same questions to new moms all the time. Plus, I’m a Mom of 3 who surprises herself every day that her kids are still alive turning out to be pretty cool little humans.

I decided to create Stork Mama to have a go-to resource for moms looking for advice on everything from pregnancy to mom life.

If you are trying for a baby, pregnant, or already a Mama, then this site for YOU. I know you have a thousand questions, right?

Becoming a Mama is an ‘awkward’ phase of life. You’re an adult, but it’s not just about you now, so you have to learn to be more adulty than ever before.

But the world has changed so much since your mom and grandma had babies. Well, we no longer put whiskey in the baby’s bottle.

Being a modern mom is hard. And all you’re feeling is that crushing pressure to be perfect.

You’ve got to figure out how to get your family ready in the morning, kick ass at work, have a healthy evening meal on the table, keep the romance alive in your marriage, read your kids a bedtime story 50 times over, get enough sleep and fit in a run to get your pre-baby body back.

It’s especially difficult if you don’t have many friends or family that can relate to your situation.

That’s where the Stork Mama community comes in. Think of me as your online Mama friend.

There is so much mom information out there it can lead to overload. Stork Mama is a candid, easy to read, one-stop guide for pregnancy, parenting and mom life articles and product reviews.

Now you no longer have to spend hours researching to find what you need.

As a Mom, you need a community to share knowledge, be honest, empower, and support you. That’s I’m all about, and that’s what Stork Mama is all about.

Stork Mama is here to inform you with enough knowledge to make choices that are right for you, your family and your home life.

Being a mom is both equally exciting and scary, whether it’s your first or fifth baby. I hope to give you the confidence to be the best parent you can be.

Feedback is always appreciated, use this contact form if you have any comments or suggestions for the site.

~ Peace out Mama
